My first time

So, this is my first time., I'm 29 years old and this is my first shot at fatherhood.

My beautiful girlfriend of 10 years and I recently got married, yeah I know 10 years! After 10 months of planning for a wonderful wedding and enjoying every minute of the special night we headed to our honeymoon in St. Lucia. We came back relaxed, in love and ready to start a family...literally. Several weeks ago we found out we were pregnant, that's right pregnant....babymoon in lieu of honeymoon. Our first pregnancy test was a riot, every store we went to was closed, so I drove down Kingston Pike and finally found a Walgreens open at 11 PM. Following that night was our first doctors visit where the pregnancy was confirmed. While many people would be shocked to find out that they might be pregnant after a few weeks of marriage. My wife and I are pumped!

My goal with this blog is to learn and grow as a father. So, this is my first time, hence my first post. We are 10 weeks pregnant and our baby is as big as a kumquat, so one thing I have learned is what a kumquat is exactly...Lots to learn
